EE Beckton Site Power Upgrade
A live data centre which was upgraded to become a Super Site in East London.
Everything Everywhere Beckton was a live data centre which was upgraded to become an Everything Everywhere Super Site in East London.
As part of the project new containerised generators were installed externally with the existing generators being removed. A new LV switchboard was provided to supplement the existing infrastructure to be fed by a new internal cast resin transformer.
Acting as main contractor Derry Building Services were responsible for all designs, site surveys, production of co-ordinated working drawings, procurement, supply, delivery, offloading, positioning, storing, installation, testing and commissioning, demonstration and handover of the services, associated controls and ancillary systems.
All works were carried out in a phased manner to maintain full power support to the existing load throughout the project works.
