The project consisted of two new three storey buildings, an energy centre and car park.
The first building is made up of mostly office space with meeting rooms, ancillary rooms and a canteen with the second building comprising a research and testing facility with equipment racks and office space.
The Energy Centre is located adjacent to the second building and houses the boiler plant and a CWS storage tank along with other plant and equipment to serve the Mechanical and Electrical services requirements.
The internal lighting scheme is LG7 compliant.
An intelligent addressable lighting control system has been installed and is operated and monitored from a dedicated PC located within the ground floor reception / security office.
A fully integrated security system has been installed for the CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Access Control and Door Entry Intercom, all of which are controlled via a server/PC (control centre) in the ground floor reception / security office. The software configuration allows operators in both buildings to monitor the status of their intruder alarms.
A complete audio visual system is located in the ground floor AV server room and the system is networked between the buildings via the structured cabling fibre optic cable to allow the transmission of Audio / Visual signals between them.
