Project Pepe

The structure is an impressive 152.5 metres wide and 132 metres long with a minimum clear height of 10 metres to the underside of the haunch.

This project consisted of a large manufacturing facility and office block for Plastic Omnium, the world leader in automotive exterior components, plastic fuel and emission control systems and waste management solutions.

The structure is an impressive 152.5 metres wide and 132 metres long with a minimum clear height of 10 metres to the underside of the haunch. The warehouse contains a mezzanine level located at the gable end of the structure. In addition, there is a stand-a-lone office structure complete with meeting rooms, a canteen and WCs.

DBS were responsible for the incoming mains services to the site comprising of gas, water, a fire hydrant and incoming HV electricity and associated sub-stations. The warehouse is heated by de-stratification fans at high level with bespoke ductwork installed to ensure fresh air is circulated within the large factory area. A large quantity of bus bars were installed to enable the Client to connect into the relevant locations when their equipment and manufacturing process fit out team are on site.
